TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Three Taco Giro restaurants, previously closed due to federal raids, are welcoming customers once again. The reopening follows a significant law enforcement operation on the westside of Tucson that led to multiple arrests and sparked local protests.

On Friday, federal agents from ICE, HSI, the IRS, and Border Patrol executed 16 search warrants across Southern Arizona. The coordinated effort resulted in the arrest of 46 individuals on immigration violations. Among the targeted locations were Taco Giro restaurants in Casa Grande, Sierra Vista and the location at Cardinal Avenue and Valencia Road.
