GALLATIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Sumner County high school student is paralyzed from the chest down following a trampoline accident before Thanksgiving.
Liberty Creek High School called for prayers and support for one of its students, 16-year-old Maggie Isble, who was injured in the late-November accident.
According to a GoFundMe supporting the Isble family , the teen was injured at a local trampoline park. She performed a backflip and was taken to the hospital for surgery to remove her C5.
“What began as a fun night with her siblings ended in an unimaginable moment no parent is ever prepared to face. Maggie had landed on her head in a foam pit and broken her neck,” the fundraiser states.
The GoFundMe states that the spinal injury she sustained has paralyzed her from the chest down.
