Charvarius Ward is in concussion protocol, Colts head coach Shane Steichen told reporters Monday afternoon, after the All-Pro cornerback reported symptoms to the team the day after the team's 36-19 road loss to the Jaguars . The concussion would be Ward’s third this year – a concerning development for the team’s star offseason acquisition and one of the anchors to the Colts’ secondary.

Ward suffered his first concussion of the year sometime during the team’s Week 1 game against Miami. He came to the team Monday experiencing symptoms and missed the Week 2 win over the Broncos but was back for Week 3.
