Man found dead in Kansas City; Sheriff calls death suspicious

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Investigators have deemed a man’s death suspicious after his body was found in the Washington-Wheatley neighborhood.

Jackson County Sheriff Darryl Forté says his agency opened the investigation after first responders discovered the man near 24th and College Ave. on Monday morning, Dec. 8.

The Sheriff’s Office has not said what makes the death suspicious or released any other details about the victim.

The investigation remains ongoing.
