Popular online retailers Shein and Temu face mounting pressure from U.S. officials who want the companies investigated for alleged intellectual property theft, forced labor, and product safety violations, according to BBC .

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton launched a state probe into Shein’s labor practices and product safety, while U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas urged federal authorities to investigate both companies for intellectual property violations, the BBC said.
