Coming into Week 14, the biggest question for the Los Angeles Chargers was whether quarterback Justin Herbert would be able to suit up against the Philadelphia Eagles .
Herbert suffered an injury to his non-throwing hand in the Week 13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders . After further tests, it was determined that he fractured his left hand and needed surgery. Doctors added a metal plate to help the healing, and the procedure was a success.
The Chargers didn’t take on the Eagles until Monday night, giving Herbert an extra day of rest and preparation. When he emerged from the locker room for early warm-ups, he was wearing a noticeable padded glove on his non-throwing
