LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - No worries about rain if you have any outdoor plans over the next few days as sunshine remains in place as high pressure slowly pushes east.
Temperatures are off to a cold start, so don’t forget the jacket and coat this morning, but we are still looking at another afternoon with below average temperatures.
Even with plenty of sunshine, we are looking at temperatures back into the upper 50s to near 60 through the afternoon hours.
Winds will begin to turn more out of the south with time and that will ultimately help to start the warming trend we can expect as we head through mid-late week.
Our chilly mornings will continue to stick around for a few more days as we are back into the middle 40s both Wednesday and Thursday morning.
