Multiple vehicles were involved in a crash on Interstate 24 Tuesday, resulting in the closure of two lanes. The Tennessee Department of Transportation reports the crash is eastbound, but it appears to be westbound.

Just one lane is open as of 8:26am Tuesday, December 9, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

The crash happened just before 8:15am at mile marker 182.2 on I-24, near South Seminole Drive.

This is causing a heavy traffic buildup on I-24 Westbound.
