Police: Rogers woman killed after being struck by vehicle while she was tending to dog in street

ROGERS — A Rogers woman has died from injuries suffered Monday when she was struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses reported Jayne Cochran, 65, was tending to a dog that was in the middle of South 13th Street around 7:22 p.m. Monday when she was struck by an SUV, according to a news release from the Rogers Police Department.

Investigators found the driver was not intoxicated and was not at fault for the collision, the release states. The investigation is ongoing, according to Rogers police.
