A former office manager accused of embezzling from her employer is now accused, along with her husband and brother-in-law, of plotting to kill him.

A charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder was added to the embezzlement charges already faced by Dawn Huffman for her alleged role in the ambush shooting attack of Eddie Jawad of Jawad Investments last October outside of his Macomb Township home, according to Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido.

“The additional charge reflects the seriousness of the alleged conduct and is the direct result of diligent investigation and uncovering additional evidence,” Lucido said in a news release.
