The 2025-26 girls basketball season officially tipped off on Dec. 8, and there will be countless teams to follow from one end of the state to the other.
NJ Advance Media is highlighting the top teams in each conference.
Here are the team to watch in the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference.
THE CONFERENCE’S BEST
Morris Catholic lost leading scorers Mia Pauldo and Mya Pauldo from a team that went 28-0, won the Morris County Tournament title and its third-straight state title. Jacqueline Edelman returns after averaging 10.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and hit for 53-pointers. Senior Kennedy Brown (6.9 ppg., 4.2 rpg., 23 3s) and juniors Anastasia Bonfante (4.7 ppg., 27 3s), Morgan Fulston (5.1 ppg., 9.0 rpg., 2.8 bpg.) and Ashley Labeach (3.7 ppg., 4.5 rpg.) also return.
