A murder inquiry has been launched following the discovery of a man's body outside a pub .

The victim, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was found deceased in an alleyway in Surrey after sustaining severe injuries .

His body was discovered in the passageway adjacent to The Wheatsheaf on Kingston Road, Ewell on Tuesday, December 9.

Emergency services raced to the scene near the establishment where paramedics attended to the man's wounds, but he was tragically declared dead shortly afterwards.

Surrey and Sussex Police have initiated a murder investigation, reports The Mirror .
