LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - On Dec. 12, 1960, Tom and Jim Monaghan bought Dominick’s, a small pizza chain in Ypsilanti.
They then changed the name to Domino’s.
The first franchised location opened in 1967, and the company expanded from there, eventually opening locations in countries such as Canada, Italy and China.
