New York: US President Donald Trump claimed Tuesday that India and Pakistan "were going at it" and he resolved the conflict between the nuclear-armed neighbours, reiterating the assertion for nearly the 70th time.
“In 10 months, I ended eight wars, including Kosovo (and) Serbia, Pakistan and India, they were going at it. Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia.… Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Trump told supporters at a Pennsylvania rally on the economy in Mount Pocono.
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 against terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir following the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians. The nations agreed to halt four days of drone and missile exchanges on May 10, with India denying any third-party role.
Trump added that Cambodia and Thailand rest
