Emergency services are at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on a busy UK motorway.

National Highways West Midlands announced that two lanes of the M6 in Staffordshire are closed following the collision. The road was held southbound at Junction 12, but has since been released.

Traffic officers and recovery agents are working at the scene, with lanes one and two of four remaining closed at this stage.
