A Winter Weather Advisory continues for southern Wisconsin until 9 AM
Additional snow chances Thursday and into the weekend
Dangerously cold temperatures/wind chills settling in for the weekend
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - After a bit of the lull in activity overnight, wrap around snow will swing south over the next few hours. Winds have picked up behind the low and we could see winds gusting as high as 30-40 mph. Blowing snow and slick spots may impact the morning commute. With this, our Winter Weather Advisory has been extended until 9 AM. Be sure to allow yourself some extra time as you get out on the roads this morning! This next wave of snow will be pretty light with additional accumulations up to 1 inch and potentially a bit more along the lake shore with the help of some lake effect. S
