Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum hasn’t played yet this season as he continues to recover from his Achilles injury, but that hasn’t stopped others from singing his praises.

Take Celtics legend and Hall of Famer Robert Parish, who recently discussed Tatum’s greatness and what makes him special on the “View From the Rafters” podcast .

“Jayson is an awesome talent. He’s that generational-type talent,” Parish said. “I just expect nothing but great things to continue to happen, not only for Jayson, but for the Celtics also. Because they’ve got a great leader and he sets a great example, because he does not take nights off.”

Prior to sustaining his injury in last spring’s playoffs, Tatum was one of the league’s most durable, reliable and consistent superstars, averaging 73 games per year
