ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Coca-Cola has elected Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Henrique Braun to succeed current CEO James Quincey, the company announced Tuesday.
Quincey has been Coca-Cola’s CEO since 2017. In a statement, the company said, “He has led the transformation of the business as a total beverage company, driven by a focus on staying closely connected to consumers. Under his leadership, the company has added more than 10 additional billion-dollar brands.”
Quincey is expected to become the company’s executive chairman.
