SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame women’s basketball team had a tough loss last week on the road at Ole Miss , but the Fighting Irish were able to respond over the weekend with a big statement win against Florida State .
The Irish beat the Seminoles 93-58 on Sunday down in Tallahassee. It was exactly what Notre Dame needed after dropping a nailbiter 69-62 at a top 25 opponent in Ole Miss.
After these results, the Irish are now ranked 19th in the country with a 6-2 overall record and 1-0 in the ACC. They have a home game against Morehead State on Wednesday night.
