TOLEDO, Ohio —
Toledo Public Schools is hoping to start having community conversations about the proposed changes in January. District officials said no dates are yet, but that is something they are working on.
WTOL 11 spoke to a TPS board member on Wednesday about the changes.
TPS board president Bob Vasquez said this isn't the first time the district has gone through a major change. He said it worked last time, and he's hoping it won't be any different now.
"This is another time we're going through a transformation plan," Vasquez said. "We've had some wonderful outcomes out of that transformation plan."
The first transformation plan happened almost 15 years ago, shifting schools to kindergarten through eighth grade.
