FARMVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Residents in Farmville have been talking about the accessibility around town for years, and now Farmville has an Americans with Disabilities Act coordinator.

What might just seem like a step up or down for some people on the sidewalk can be a hazard and hassle for others.

“I definitely gotta get up... and roll it down the best way I can and go on across,” said Frank Bullock, a Farmville resident, who uses a wheelchair.

“There’s over 150 or so missing curb ramps in town,” said Stephen Hardy-Braz, an accessibility activist.

Some Farmville residents have been advocating for ramped sidewalks.
