AURORA, Ind. —
Three emergency workers were honored in Dearborn County for their heroic actions in saving a 77-year-old from a house fire, with the dramatic rescue captured on body camera and an emotional reunion taking place during the ceremony.

"Well the three men that saved me, I want to thank them with all my heart. They're great men," Arnold Lanthrop said.
In August, Lanthrop awoke to find his mattress on fire , with thick black smoke spreading through his home. He attempted to crawl to the door but couldn't reach the handle. First responders arrived and dragged him to safety, after which Lanthrop was flown to the hospital.
