HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 in Cabell County are closed Thursday morning, between the 5th Street exit and the 29th Street exit.

A crash involving multiple vehicles happened just after 7 a.m., according to dispatchers at Cabell County 911.

Traffic is stopped right at the Hal Greer Boulevard on-ramp on the eastbound side.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use caution when driving in the area.

Drivers heading east on I-64 should get off at the 5th Street exit as a detour.
