LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - One man was arrested for driving under the influence on Dec. 9.
It happened off KY 1376, 8 miles north of London, after deputies were dispatched to a possible drunk driver.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they spotted a blue GMC Sierra.
Deputies said the driver had slurred speech, glassy bloodshot eyes, and his breath smelled of alcohol.
They also found a rifle in the vehicle.
The driver was determined to be under the influence.
Rob R. Gilbert, 47, was arrested and charged with:
Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense
Possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle prohibited
Discharging a firearm across a public road
He is being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
