A man has been jailed for more than two years after pleading guilty to controlling or coercive behaviour.
Steven Platt, of no fixed address but from Stowmarket, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on Monday and was sentenced to 30 months' imprisonment.
The 44-year-old had made repeated unwanted contact with the victim, a woman, over a period of 18 months.
The court heard how Platt had sent threatening and abusive messages and emails via numerous platforms and called her from withheld numbers.
Further charges of criminal damage and assault by beating were left to lay on file.
At the peak of the behaviour, it was told that Platt could send about 70 emails in a day and even further contact from various channels.
