Agartala, 11 th December 2025: Help from the Chief Minister has brought a ray of hope to a grief-stricken family in Indira Panchayat, Sabroom, following the untimely death of sharecropper Sanjib Das. The tragic incident, which occurred a few days ago, drew immediate attention from the Chief Minister, who swiftly directed the district administration to extend all necessary support.

At the “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu” outreach programme today, the Chief Minister personally handed over a financial assistance of ₹4 lakh to Bandana Das, the wife of the deceased farmer. In addition, the government has sanctioned a monthly allowance of ₹4,000 for one of their two daughters to help ensure her continued welfare.
