PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Kentucky State Police is investigating a death after they said they found a woman unresponsive.

Troopers were called to the Millard community on Tuesday after they received a 911 call.

Once they arrived on scene, they found Valarie McPeek, 53, of Pikeville.

Troopers said she was discovered outside near Biggs Branch Road and was pronounced dead at the scene by officials with the coroner’s office.

Troopers said foul play is not suspected at this time.
