Horrifying CCTV footage shows the moment a chimney falls off an old pub and smashes on the ground of a Welsh town centre. The incident happened between Ship Street and St Michael Street in Brecon at around 3pm on Tuesday, December 9.

The topple happened during Storm Bram which brought strong winds of up to 70mph and heavy rain across Wales. It caused high river levels across the country as well as flooding in some areas. You can view pictures of the impact here.

The chimney fell from the former Boar's Head Pub building, which is currently the Brecon Tandoori Indian restaurant. Local man Geoffrey Waldron told WalesOnline he was walking near the building when he heard a "loud crash".
