LLANO, Texas — Llano police are warning the community about scammers posting fake links for tickets and streaming services for the Llano High School football team.

In a social media post shared Thursday, the Llano Police Department is encouraging people to avoid clicking links and making purchases to these websites, “because you’ll have a hard time using that fake ticket at the gate Friday."

Tickets are available through the Llano ISD Facebook page and not through other social media accounts. Law enforcement officials encourage people to check links before making purchases.
