A high-speed chase ended when a K-9 chased the suspect fleeing into the woods.

On Dec. 4, Coweta deputies spotted a reportedly stolen white Lexus driving north on Interstate 85. .

According to the incident report, deputies initiated a traffic stop at the 54-mile marker. The driver, Naytri Jamarris Pitts, 29, pulled over to the right shoulder emergency lane.

Deputies reportedly approached the car with pistols drawn and gave commands for Pitts to exit the vehicle. Another deputy positioned his vehicle on the driver's side of Pitts' car during the stop. Pitts then reportedly accelerated, and the deputies gave chase.

Pitts reportedly weaved in and out of lanes without using turn signals at 130 mph and drove into the emergency lane north of Exit 56.
