A woman from Bolton has been banned from owning rabbits and guinea pigs after she admitted a string of animal welfare offences involving more than 70 small animals . Lauren Boardman, of Matchmoor Lane in Horwich , also admitted causing suffering to two French Bulldogs.
Boardman pleaded guilty to eight offences in total ranging in dates from November 2023 to March 2024 at two different properties - Church Street, Bolton and Matchmoor Lane, Horwich. She was sentenced at Manchester Magistrates Court on 27 November.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ( RSPCA ) was previously asked by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) to attend the property in Church Street, where Boardman agreed to improve conditions and stated she would move her animals to
