ELKO, Nev. (KOLO) - There was a fatal motorcycle vs. pickup truck incident at 2:59 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, in front of Ruby Dome Inc. in Elko, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Sgt. Cruz Marin.

The incident happened at 6525 East Idaho Street after a report of a reckless motorcycle, Marin said.

It is believed the motorcycle did not see the pickup truck turning into the business and struck its right passenger side, Marin said.

The man who was driving the motorcycle died at the scene.

Speed was a factor in the incident, Marin said.

The incident is under investigation.
