A backpacker from the West Midlands has been jailed for four years after killing a father-of-two in a horrific collision in Australia. Alicia Kemp, 25, was riding an electric scooter during the fatal accident.
Kemp appeared at Perth District Court in Perth, Western Australia, on Friday (December 12), where she was sentenced after pleading guilty to dangerous driving causing death while under the influence of alcohol, the Mirror reports .
Judge Wendy Hughes handed Kemp a four-year prison term, backdated to June 2025 for time served, with a non-parole period of two years. She could be eligible for release in mid-2027.
