CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Two organizations leading one of Cleveland Heights’ largest housing initiatives will host a community meeting next week to gather input on plans to build dozens of new homes on vacant lots.

FutureHeights and Rebuild Cleveland are inviting residents to learn more about the proposed infill housing project during a meeting scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lee Road Library.

The meeting comes after Cleveland Heights City Council this fall approved legislation to sell 45 city-owned lots in the Cain Park and Cedar-Lee neighborhoods to FutureHeights and Rebuild Cleveland. The goal: transform long-vacant parcels into new, for-sale modular homes.
