SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - Sevier County Sheriff Michael Hodges Jr. says his investigators followed standard procedure after two off-duty police officers were involved in a possible DUI crash last month.
“Some authors on social media choose to circulate misleading information, unverified claims and even blatant lies,” Hodges said. “This inquiry was performed by the book, in full compliance with policy, and consistent with the laws and procedures applied to all investigations. The deputies performed their duties with great attention to detail and professionalism. Our administration has a proven history of ethical service.”
