Berea, Ohio — Mayor Cyril Kleem, Berea Kiwanis’ guest speaker for December, has outlined several major development projects on Berea’s north end, including work on the Browns/Haslam Sports Group properties with infrastructure underway and a new sports medicine building already framed.

Additional plans include a Marriott hotel, retail, apartments, and a community football field that will become home to the Berea-Midpark High School Titans.

The development, now named the Cross Country Mortgage Campus , is expected to be completed by 2027.

Kleem also discussed a townhouse project north of the bridge on Front Street, set to begin next year, with 77 units planned for the former Willias Ford and Mexican restaurant sites.
