Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened Thursday night in Gettysburg.

The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. at East Broadway and Harrisburg streets, Gettysburg police said on Facebook .

Police said a woman was hit by a blue sedan while crossing Harrisburg Street in the crosswalk. The vehicle drove away the scene heading north on Harrisburg Street/Old Harrisburg Road, police said.

Police said the vehicle could be a Ford Focus or Fiesta.

The severity of the woman’s injuries is unclear.

Officers are asking people to help identify the vehicle and driver suspected of being involved, and/or to provide footage from cameras in the area.
