NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - People with pending immigration cases and employment authorization cards can still face detention under Operation Catahoula Crunch, according to a source familiar with the operation.

An immigration attorney points to a recent immigration Board of Appeals ruling that requires those detainees to remain in custody while awaiting a determination in their case.
