DALLAS — Two children were hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in Far North Dallas Friday morning, officials said.

Officers were called to respond to the crash in the 4100 block of Horizon North Parkway shortly before 8 a.m. and found two children had been hit by a vehicle, police said. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and took both children to a hospital in unknown condition, officials said.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, according to Dallas Police. The driver was not identified.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
