Three people have died in a horror crash near the border of England and Wales. Another person is seriously injured after the smash on the A489 between Churchstoke, Powys, and Lydham, Shropshire, shortly before 5pm yesterday (December 11).

Dyfed Powys Police said the collision involved two vehicles - a grey Audi A4 and a red Toyota Yaris. Tragically, both occupants of the Toyota Yaris and the driver of the Audi A4 lost their lives due to fatal injuries sustained in the crash, WalesOnline reports .

The force is appealing for any witnesses to come forward as they continue their investigation. In addition, the statement mentioned that a blue tractor with a front attachment was also travelling on the same stretch of road at the time of the incident. View 2 Images
