A life-saving — and life-changing — social service organization is facing an uncertain future after learning it will lose funding for its core outreach services.

The Go-Give Project has been active for five years, providing frontline services to the unhoused and vulnerable communities; building relationships; and mitigating the harms caused by mental illness and substance abuse.
The organization learned recently they will lose a major source of funding on Dec. 31, which has supported their mobile outreach teams and the Welcoming Streets program.
That has left Evie Ali, executive director of The Go-Give Project, with more questions than answers.
“For the 2026 year, we are still facing a lot of uncertainty as to if and whom may be funding those projects,” she said e
