ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A southwest Atlanta homeowner is being charged after two juveniles were shot while allegedly trying to steal packages, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Rakim Bradford was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The shooting incident happened Thursday, around 3:30 p.m. at the Villages of Cascade complex on Celeste Lane.
Two teenagers were found with gunshots.
One of them, a 15-year-old boy, was shot in his right foot, police said shortly after the incident. The other, 16, was taken to the hospital in critical condition after he was shot in his right arm. He underwent surgery and is expected to survive, police said.
