Former Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore is being charged with third-degree home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering. His arraignment at 14A-1 District Court in Ann Arbor is expected to take place Friday at 1 p.m.

These charges stemmed from an incident that occurred shortly after he was fired on Wednesday afternoon. The Pittsfield Police Department was dispatched to the 3000 block of Ann Arbor Saline Road to investigate a reported assault. After being detained by Saline police for a period of time, Moore was later booked in the Washtenaw County Jail by Pittsfield police and remained in custody pending the review of charges.

The investigation remains ongoing.
