Former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore had his first court appearance on Friday during his arraignment. He was charged with third-degree felony home invasion, misdemeanor stalking (domestic relationship) and misdemeanor breaking and entering.
Moore appeared via video conference at the hearing, and spoke only when addressed by the judge, to state his name and to say, “Yes, your honor.”
During the hearing, Kati Rezmierski, the first assistant prosecutor, said Moore and his staff member were in an intimate relationship for “a number of years” until Dec. 8, when the staff member broke up with Moore and began to cooperate with the university’s investigation.
