A strong second quarter lifted the Leslie girls basketball team to a 34-27 win over Manchester on Thursday.

The Flying Dutchmen led 13-10 after one only for the Blackhawks to outscore them 11-3 in the second.

Jaelyn Crowe led Leslie with 17 points. Hailey Creisher added six.

Hanover-Horton 42, Homer 34: The Comets picked up a win over the Trojans.

Homer’s Alivia Warner had 20 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Ava Fetterman added five points. Brooklen Minix had eight rebounds.

Michigan Center 58, Napoleon 6: The Cardinals cruised to a Cascades Conference win.

Mayrese Vieau had 17 points, five rebounds and five steals for Michigan Center. Kara Straub had 12 points. Alliyah Moore had eight points and six rebounds.
