The Spartanburg County-based measles outbreak has grown by 15 new cases and includes two new school exposures, the state Department of Public Health announced Dec. 12.
This brings the outbreak total to 126 cases and the number of schools impacted to 11 since measles invaded South Carolina in July.
Of the new cases, 13 stem from known household exposures, one from a neighborhood exposure and one from a source still being investigated.
Schools impacted
The two new school exposures involve Campobello-Gramling School where 67 students are in quarantine, and Boiling Springs Elementary where 16 are in quarantine.
