There will be an increased police presence tomorrow as a peaceful protest is set to take place.

Gloucester Constabulary shared the news, stating that extra officers will be visible in Cheltenham tomorrow (Saturday, December 13).

Officers hope to "minimise disruption" and "keep everyone safe" at the lawful protest.

The extra officers will be congregated in the town centre close to Cambray Place.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said that while the force upholds the right of individuals to protest in a peaceful manner, it will not hesitate in taking action against anyone who commits any unlawful act.
