HARRODSBURG Ky. (WKYT) - Snow that fell Thursday night into Friday morning caused minor traffic problems in Mercer County, with officials saying most residents followed advice to stay off the roads.
The snowfall covered nearly everything in the county but was no longer considered a nuisance by Friday morning, according to emergency management officials.
“It’s one of those snows that looks pretty on the ground, still able to move around and do our business as usual,” said Brad Cox with Mercer County Emergency Management.
Traffic incidents
The snow caused trouble for about 8 to 10 drivers, according to Mercer County deputies. Several vehicles slid off the road, mostly on Highway 127 and Burgin Road.
