After some unusually cold days to start off December, forecasters are predicting more snow in central Pennsylvania ahead of warmer temperatures next week.
Harrisburg’s high for Saturday is expected to reach about 40 degrees before temperatures plummet to the low 20s and snow showers push into the region.
As of Friday night, forecasters are calling for less than 1 inch of new snow accumulation throughout Harrisburg. Temperatures in Harrisburg should stay cold throughout the weekend, with a high of 26 and a low of 18 for Sunday.
Other parts of central Pennsylvania, including York, Lancaster, Gettysburg and Carlisle are forecast to receive between half an inch and 2 inches of snow throughout the weekend.
