The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 2:27 a.m. on Saturday valid from 10 p.m. until Sunday 1 p.m. for Manhattan, the Bronx, Staten Island, Brooklyn and Queens as well as Nassau County.
The weather service says to prepare for, "Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous," describes the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling.
